La Route des Fruits

In Duclair, in one of the meanders of the river Seine at the heart of the Boucles de la Seine Normande Regional Natural Park, you will enter a landscape full of orchards, where, depending on the season, flowers and fruits bloom all around you. In this protected area, a unique place to visit: Jumièges Abbey

In its name, the Fruit Route indicates the color. Or rather, it announces the flavors that walkers are sure to encounter along an itinerary that perfectly follows the curve that the Seine River draws around the Jumièges peninsula. Apples, of course, but also pears, plums and cherries have been taking advantage of a microclimate that is conducive to arboriculture for several centuries now, allowing them to ripen peacefully.
