Overview
This new facility, a symbol of the city's vibrancy, is a place to gather, exchange ideas and share experiences. Since its inauguration on the 12th July 2012, it has brought about sports and cultural events.
Lastest generation arena built in the English style, and multi-purpose facility, the Stade Océane was designed to make the public want to come and participate in events and have memorable experiences. It offers a great view, a unique closeness between the spectators and the players, an exceptional panoramic view from the top seats, a friendly atmosphere and ease of movement, which are typical features of modern sports venues. It is the first stadium in France that produces more energy than it needs. This exemplary situation comes from innovative technical choices in terms of energy saving. Home to the HAC football team, the city's legendary team, it can seat more than 25,000 people over 19 hectares.
