Located in the centre of Neufchâtel-en-Bray, a stone's throw away from the Avenue Verte, in the oldest half-timbered town house dating back to the end of the 16th century that remains in the town, the Mathon Durand Popular Arts and Traditions Museum, listed a "Musée de France"( Museum of France), shows visitors the history and traditions of Neufchâtel-en-Bray and the Pays de Bray through rich and varied collections, unique in the area, ranging from prehistory to the beginning of the 20th century.
Elegant 16th century home. Five rooms are devoted to folks arts and traditions of Pays de Bray. Glassware, furniture, earthenware, pottery, farm chores and the production of Neufchâtel cheese. Leather craft, hosiery and clog making.
