The bookshop is ideally situated on the harbour, a stone’s throw from the Tourist Office and opposite the station. An independent bookshop with LIR (Librairie de Référence) accreditation, it offers a selection of 12,000 books across 200 square metres and two floors, including literature, comics, books on Normandy, children’s books, the humanities, the environment and gardening. A second-hand book section is also available. The books sit alongside games, stationery, decorative items, jewellery and more. Author talks and exhibitions are regularly organised. The team at Le Chat Pitre will be happy to advise you on your reading choices and purchases. You can place book orders via the website 24 hours a day. We accept the PassCulture and the Fécamp shop card.
