The Musée des Arts du Fer, Le Secq des Tournelles was inaugurated in 1921, following an exceptional gift from Jean-Louis Henri Le Secq Destournelles (1818 - 1882) and his son Henri-Jean Le Secq des Tournelles (1854 - 1925). It houses the world's largest public collection of antique ironwork.
