Frac Normandie opens its doors to young artists. The title of the exhibition, Zoom Zoom Z, may be a reference to the famous NTM song "Ma Benz" from 1998, but the simple letter Z refers above all to a generation born between the end of the 90s and the beginning of the 2010s. This generation is represented here by 25 artists, all of whom graduated between 2021 and 2023, the first selection criterion imposed by the Frac for this project.
This exhibition takes a subjective look at a handful of individuals with a sincere desire to make art in today?s world. Extremely varied sensibilities and approaches will thus be deployed through painting, graphic design, sculpture, video, photography, drawing and performance.
