Opened in July 1993, the Musée du Verre de la Vallée de la Bresle (Bresle Valley Glass Museum) is a permanent exhibition featuring all the stages in the manufacture of a glass object, as well as numerous showcases.
The 400 m² exhibition space showcases pottery techniques, glass compositions, manual, mechanical and semi-automatic production techniques, annealing and packaging.
The museum boasts a large collection of luxury perfume bottles (around 80% of the world's production is made in Bresle Valley glassworks).
The museum is open from Wednesday April 3 to Thursday October 31, 2024 (inclusive)
* Low season
april 1 to June 30 and September 1 to October 31, 2024, open :
- wednesday to Sunday, 2pm to 6pm.
Guided tours at 2:30 pm and 4:00 pm
Glass-blowing demonstrations at 2:30 pm, 3:30 pm and 5 pm.
* High season
july 1 to August 31, open :
- wednesday to Friday, 10am to 12pm and 2pm to 6pm,
- saturday to Sunday, 2pm to 6pm.
Guided tours at 10:15 am, 2:15 pm, 3:30 pm and 4:45 pm
Glass-blowing demonstrations at 11:15 am, 2:30 pm, 3:30 pm and 4:45 pm.
The museum is closed from October 31, 2023 to April 1, 2024.
Closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, May 1 and July 14.
