Linen & Heritage Day by bike ? Saturday, June 14, 2025
On Saturday June 14, get on your bike for an immersive day exploring the flax and heritage of La Chapelle-sur-Dun, organized by the Alliance et Culture association.
On the program:
Departure at 9 a.m. from Saint-Pierre-le-Viger for a 15 km bike ride (classic or electric bike).
Visit a flax field and meet a local farmer to learn all about this emblematic fiber.
Picnic (bring your own lunch and cup; drinks provided by the association).
Guided tour of the heritage of La Chapelle-sur-Dun.
Discovery of the Jardin Terre d'Accord, an artistic and poetic site.
Open-air jazz concert at 5pm with Monica Shaka and Nicola Sabato (free participation)
Possibility of joining the group by car for those who don't wish to cycle the route.
Ends around 6:30pm.
