Who am I?
With a degree in art history and a Master 2 in heritage professions, I chose to become a tour guide. The choice of freedom. To study the subjects that first attract me, then often fascinate me, and then share them with you. With all of you. Young and old, locals and visitors, connoisseurs and amateurs, the curious and the uninitiated.
I believe that history is a common good. And while we don't all have to be passionate about it, we are at least entitled to be interested in it, to ask questions and try to answer them. There's no wrong time or age to learn something. A date, a name?
My guided tours :
I've been living here myself for a few years now. I'm not a native, and to get to know it, I first had to work. So, time. But I also had to get to know it. To do this, I regularly go for walks, and even today I sometimes look up at a facade I hadn?t noticed before. How could I not fall under its spell? Especially as Dieppe is all about history. Not just anecdotes, but also more significant, decisive events. Good times and bad.
Monuments and key dates, streets and personalities: if you love history, you'd better take a close look. To love Dieppe, you might as well visit it?
My tours are all available as lectures.
If you have any other requests for lectures, please do not hesitate to contact me.
