From Veulettes-sur-Mer, put on your walking shoes and head for Paluel. This discovery loop takes you along the banks of the Durdent, a small river 23 km long, whose estuary is equipped with a fish pass enabling fish to swim up the riverbed to lay their eggs. In the heart of a site classified as a ZNIEFF (Zone Naturelle d?Intérêt Ecologique Faunistique et Floristique), you may catch a glimpse of a teal or hear the song of a warbler. You'll be amazed at how clear the water is.
A 7-kilometer walking trail, 80% of which is car-free, allows you to discover the wet meadows of the lower Durdent Valley.
