Les Petites Dalles owes its reputation to the cliffs that frame the village and the beach, having inspired Impressionist painters such as Claude Monet and Berthe Morisot. The village is also famous for its many remarkably well-preserved seaside villas from the late 19th century.
This former fishing village lies in one of the valleys of the Pays de Caux, a popular bathing spot for Empress Sissi.
