This former farm used to belong to Pierre Corneille, a famous 17th century playwright. Bought by his father in 1608, Pierre Corneille inherited it when his father died. The house and the land around it have changed a lot over the centuries. Nowadays the garden, comprising a kitchen garden and fruit trees, covers 0.5 acres and the house holds an exhibition on Corneille's life and work.
