Description

45 hectares of meadows, woods and ponds in the heart of the Durdent valley, between the communes of Le Hanouard and Grainville-la-Teinturière: Basses Eaux is a breath of pure chlorophyll, miraculously preserved by the years, and home to many remarkable plant and animal species. On this site, nature rules over 50 hectares of meadows, woods, hedges and ponds. Take this tour and discover the flora and fauna specific to wooded hillsides. In places, you can make out tracks and paths made by roe deer and wild boar trying to find their way. They evolve in these large green spaces, among the flowers of our countryside. Insect hotels, observation towers and bamboo goggles are available to help you observe the natural world around you.
