Description
The castle where lived Richard the Lion Heart has been demolished many times over, from the hundred years war to the Second World War, it has however kept its medieval foundations. The site was classed for it s panoramic views as a Site Naturels in 1935. Closed to the public in 2003, the Rouen agglomeration bought the site in late 2007 and since has been in the process of restoring to open exteriors to the public.
