As a nod to reincarnation, a sheet of paper can be recycled up to 7 times. So we imagined the 7 possible lives of a single sheet of paper. In turn, it becomes an administrative form, an origami, a love letter, a banknote, a handkerchief, a newspaper or a sheet of music.
Each life is a little painting highlighting our use of paper, but also deforestation and its consequences for nature. From love letters to political leaflets, photo paper to glossy advertising paper.
We fold, unfold, crease and crease again, to the sound of the cello, which gives rhythm, encouragement and punctuation to these different stories. 2 actors play with objects and paper in all their forms, imagining worlds, stories and characters to take a tender, poetic and humorous look at a life made of paper.
Young and old alike will be swept away by the gentleness of this show!
