L'Escale de La Varenne, a family hike. Taking part in the Rencontre Ecoloisirs de La Varenne means hiking in the lower La Varenne valley and circling the large pond at the Base de loisirs with people who love families, outdoor physical activity and this beautiful valley. Three hours of fun for all!
Let's come from all over the country to make ourselves at home! We look forward to meeting you to walk from your home to the great Etang de la Varenne, a magical place that has been bringing together families from Terroir-de-Caux, Falaise-du-Talou and Dieppe-Maritime for almost 100 years.
Three routes are proposed (the exact starting point will be indicated on HelloAsso by September 12):
Parcours de Caux = Welcome at 9:00 am at Saint-Germain d'Etables, Departure at 9:30 am and Final arrival at 12:00 pm Base de loisirs de la Varenne, distance 12 km, including 4 hilly sections
Parcours du Talou= Welcome at 9:30 am in Dampierre-Saint-Nicolas, Start 10:00 am and Final finish 12:00 pm Base de loisirs de la Varenne, distance 8 km, flat
Dieppe Maritime route = Welcome at Rouxmesnil-Bouteilles from 9:30 am, Start 10:00 am and Finish 12:00 pm Base de loisirs de la Varenne, distance 8 km, flat
Three times for a great time at the Rencontre Ecoloisirs de la Varenne
First stage: A walk along the chosen route to the leisure center, and then, starting at 11:30 a.m., a tour of the large pond.
Second stage: Tour of the big pond. Yes, we're allowed to walk around the pond together. The path will be cleaned for the occasion :) Cool!
Time three: Picnic. After three hours in the great outdoors, a snack is in order. An opportunity to talk about this and that with some of you.
