We are continuing our partnership with the Cavaillé-Coll organ festival of Normandy, initiated by Jean-Baptiste Monnot, titular of the great organ of the Abbatiale Saint-Ouen in Rouen. For this concert, we are delighted to welcome Benjamin Alard, undoubtedly one of the most talented harpsichordists and organists of his generation.
A great specialist of Bach, whose complete works for solo keyboard he has recorded for harmonia mundi©, in this recital we will hear several of his transcriptions of works by Corrette and Rameau, as well as the famous Carnaval des Animaux, magnified by the sublime colors of the organ at La Trinité de Fécamp.
