Welcome to the fascinating world of permaculture! This workshop invites you to visit the garden and immerse yourself in a lush, productive and eco-responsible garden: hands-on workshops, advice and tastings.
As soon as you arrive, after getting acquainted over a cup of coffee, Joseph will introduce you to the principles of permaculture and the various productive plants in the garden.
Depending on the time of year, you will then take part in various practical activities: sowing, harvesting vegetables, transplanting, discovering the taste of certain products, observing the garden?s auxiliary insects?
At his side, you will learn the essential gestures for a sustainable, aesthetic and productive vegetable garden. He will also give you tips and tricks for practicing permaculture in the city and keeping your vegetable garden healthy all year round.
The workshop includes :
- A welcome coffee or aperitif in the evening
- A visit to the garden to discover the principles of permaculture, the different spaces, the compost, the pond, the diversity of vegetables and fruit...
- A time of practice according to the seasons: sowing, transplanting, harvesting vegetables?
- A tasting of products from the garden (chutney toast, dried fruit, lacto-fermented vegetables, etc.)
The workshop takes place in Joseph Chauffrey's garden on rue Benjamin Normand in Sotteville.
It's a 1-minute walk from the Voltaire metro stop. Bikes can be parked in the garden.
