Stade Océane is a bold and innovative response to sport, entertainment and cultural challenges. The largest venue in Normandy with 25,000 seats for a football match, this multi-purpose stadium can hold up to 28,000 spectators for a show. Designed to deliver the English stadium experience, the Stade Océane offers visibility and conviviality to all types of audiences. Designed to run smoothly and efficiently, the Stade Océane is also the first 'energy positive' stadium in France. Indeed it produces more energy than it requires, thus contributing to reducing its carbon footprint.
Another first in France, the management of this amazing place open to everyone was given to the Havre Athletic Club: the initiator of the project and oldest French football club is both the tenant and exclusive manager of the Stade Océane. Besides the football matches, the HAC organises concerts, sports events, shows, exhibitions, seminars, conferences, children birthday parties, etc. all year round and offers new and unprecedented services and solutions in the area of Le Havre to private individual, associations, companies that can call this emblematic place theirs for an event, a reception or a show. Another first in France: the Stade Océane houses a four-star hotel and a restaurant, Stadium Bar&Grill, which is open to companies and private individuals all year round.
