It was by the light of hundreds of gas globes that Montivillons discovered their new village hall on April 30, 1899. Numerous artists were to perform there, but the hall was also a witness to local life: a venue for school shows, a polling station, a cinema? Ravaged by fire in 2011, it was completely refurbished and reopened to the public in 2015 as the Salle Michel Vallery. Ten years ago, we looked back on its long history.
