At the start of the GR21 hiking trail, just to the right of the Varengeville-sur-Mer church, a hundred metres further on, the Moutiers Gorge comes into view. A footpath leads to this pretty valley, where it's very pleasant to stop for a picnic. At low tide, the walk along the beach offers a breathtaking view of the church of Saint Valéry perched on its chalk cliff.
