Born in Rouen, France, Christophe Ronel was immersed in the world of art from an early age, thanks to the influence of his father, also a painter. This early passion for art led to a career rich in creations and awards.

Christophe Ronel?s universe is a skilful blend of travel memories and overflowing imagination. His canvases are an invitation to escape, blending real elements with a touch of utopia. Painting with a speed that defies time, he captures fragments of memory before they fade away. His studio, a veritable laboratory of dreams and memories, reflects this fragile balance between reality and the imaginary.

Christophe Ronel has been sharing his knowledge and passion since 1990 at the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Appliqués et Métiers d'Arts Olivier de Serres in Paris. With over 80 solo exhibitions to his credit, both in France and abroad, he has established himself as a major figure on the contemporary art scene. From Paris to Tokyo, via Lille, Brussels, Casablanca and Singapore, his works have captivated audiences the world over.
Over the years, Ronel has received numerous awards for his work. Among his most prestigious awards are the Prix de la Marine Nationale at the Salon de la Marine in 1985, the Gold Medal at the Salon des Artistes Français in 1993, and the Grand Prix du Salon d?Automne de Paris in 1998. More recently, in 2015, he was honored with the Prix Louis Gillot at the Société Nationale des Beaux-Arts? Carrousel du Louvre.
