Dating from the 17th century, this bridge crosses the Varenne river, linking Saint Aubin le Cauf to Martigny. It was built in line with the old trade route from Paris to Dieppe, to facilitate the passage of pedestrians and goods. This would explain the choice of large sandstone slabs laid on pieces of wood, capable of supporting the weight of carts.
