Founded in the early 12th century, Prieuré Saint-Jacques, located north of the Rouen-Normandie metropolitan area in the commune of Mont-Saint-Aignan, was originally a place of worship for pilgrims on their way to Santiago de Compostela, as well as a home for lepers.
