Côte de Puys Bracquemont, 76370 Petit-Caux
Caesar's Camp, or the "City of Limes", is a Gallic oppidum (port) whose origins date back to Gallo-Roman times. This ancient enclosure was once used for fishing or to escape by sea in the event of an attack. Gallo-Roman finds include a small masonry fanum, washed away by the retreating cliff, and Roman coins. Contrary to popular belief, it was not the Romans who occupied this site, but the Gauls.

Today, accessible via forest paths, it's possible to hike and stop off at this historic site, where the mound that once formed a rampart can be admired.
