The Forêt domaniale de la Londe-Rouvray is the green lung of the Greater Rouen area, covering 5,200 hectares. Originally, the forest extended as far as the banks of the Seine. But while its surface area has shrunk considerably over the centuries, the forest is no less majestic! Oaks, beeches or Scots pines, the species are varied. In 2015, the Forêt domaniale de la Londe-Rouvray was awarded the "Forêt d'Exception" label. This label, awarded by the Office National des Forêts (French national forestry agency), recognizes the excellence of the work carried out in emblematic state forests.
