Together with the adjoining communal and private forests, this state-owned forest in the Seine valley covers 7,500 ha. It takes its name from Saint-Condède, the British ("Breton") who evangelized the region. Worth seeing: views over the valley; the Cuve oak, a remarkable tree with 4 trunks, parcel 481; the Saint-Maur chapel, parcel 41.
