To bear witness to the world as it is, photographer Françoise Huguier has always preferred the cramped confines of apartments to vast expanses. In Africa, Indonesia or Siberia, her photographs speak of the people she meets, from the intimacy of their kitchen or bathroom. As part of the exhibition devoted to her at the Centre photographique, this program of short films invites you to discover the daily lives of people in different parts of the world. From St. Petersburg kommounalkas to Brazilian apartments, from Indian shantytowns to working-class Egyptian neighborhoods: interiors so far away and suddenly so close are revealed.
