A quartet like a micro-community of contemporary individuals. A chorus of dancers, linked by their generation, their gestures, the collective they form on stage. Two men and two women in their twenties introduce themselves to us in bursts of confidences, identity data and personal anecdotes. In casual conversation, they decipher their relationship with their own bodies, their complexes and the power of other people?s gaze. Somewhere between intimate fiction and diffracted autobiography, words unravel in physical proximity and metamorphose into movement, until the liberating joy of dance takes over and ignites the performers, freed from superfluity and normative constraints. To electro music that drifts into dancefloor techno, the bodies let loose, revealing their inner light and unique brilliance. And the choreography soars in a festive, unifying spirit.
