The "valleuses" (dry-hanging valleys)

A "valleuse" holds the promise of finding yourself alone in a spectacular setting…

Therefore, let's go to the Valleuse de Vasterival. The road is winding. On both sides, beautiful villas and Anglo-Norman manor houses are standing on green hills... Then, you will have to walk along a small path. The stillness is amazing, but you can hear the sounds of the sea in the background...

The path finally goes through the cliffs, and you will feel so small... You can notice the sea between the two chalk walls... A few more steps and there you are, on the beach... The spectacle is intense: an unspoilt beach, piles of rocks, cliffs as far as the eye can see, a clear blue sea and foaming waves rolling on the sand and pebbles, the sea spray, the enchanting light, the seagulls... You will have intense emotions and an unforgettable experience...

Other great times: the Valleuse des Moutiers, beneath the church and marine churchyard, one of the most picturesque dry-hanging valleys and the Valleuse du Petit Ailly, the shellfish pickers' haven during the high tides.
Between Pourville and the Ailly lighthouse, there are no fewer than 5 "valleuses" in all which provide breathtaking settings for great explorations and intense emotions!
