Chemin des Perets à VTT

Leaving from the village of Neuf-Marché, this 4.5 km circular route is ideal for families. In the heart of the Pays de Bray, you will see varied landscapes and splendid views!

Leaving from Place du Puits de Corval, you will start on a road before following a dirt path on your right.

This path will allow you to gain height and will put your stamina to the test, but don't be discouraged because once you reach the top, the view is worthwhile! Don't hesitate to stop. First of all, to reward yourself for the effort and have a drink of water, but also to take in the view of the valleys that stretch around Neuf-Marché.

After effort comes comfort! You will enjoy a flat path that will take you to explore the Cuesta, a chalk steep hill typical of the Pays de Bray. Without even noticing it, you will slowly start to go down and reach a real descent! Through the fields, you will gain speed and follow the dirt path that will take you back to the road.

Before getting back to the starting point, have a look on your right. You will see the ruins of the castle of Neuf-Marché. Dating back to the 12th century, it is now listed among the picturesque sites of the Department of Seine-Maritime!

This route crosses the greenway Avenue Verte London-Paris, the famous cycle route that links Paris and London. Don't be surprised if you see cyclists!


This route accessible to beginner as well as experienced mountain bikers can also be done on foot.
