Overview
This walk, which leaves from the centre of Auffay, traces the history of the area.
This mountain bike loop will make you discover the secrets of the territory. So don't wait any longer and go to the PLace Centrale d'Auffay with your helmet and a bottle of water. Once on the way, you will meet the Victor Hugo street. To the east of this street and up to the junction of Jean-Macé and Sauvage streets, there used to be a chapel called Clos Jacquet with its clumsy structure. Formerly isolated from Auffay's dwellings and deprived of any social relations, the place was chosen by the local notables to be an asylum for those disfigured by the wounds of the pleura. The building was abolished in 1530 when the disease was extinguished. Today converted into a private house, only part of the chapel remains, nestled in a green setting.
