An innovative, multimedia visit in the heart of the 15th century! This is what you'll find at the Joan of Arc Museum. Located at the foot of the Cathedral in Rouen, within the Archbishop's palace, the Museum tells the story of the French heroine whose past is closely related to the city of Rouen.
You will have realised that, the Joan of Arc Museum is much more than an exhibition! It is above all a place, located in the Archbishop's palace, it is where the trials took place: the first trial that condemned her to death in 1431 and then the second trial of rehabilitation in 1456. Explore this authentic place, which seems to have withstood the test of time, to uncover the secrets of the past. The digital display fits perfectly in the setting and takes visitors back to Joan of Arc's second trial to restore her innocence.
Totally immersed in this major Norman heritage site, experience the epic tale of Joan of Arc thanks to the technological prowess of this “show-tour”. Testimonies and recreations, her story will no longer hold any secrets from you! At the beginning of the adventure, you will walk slowly towards the darkness, the lights fill the walls as if bringing them to life: video projection, projection mapping, screens, Joan of Arc's story unfolds before your eyes. Walk from room one room to the next to learn more about this French heroine: Romanesque and Gothic crypt, watchtower, "Mythothèque" (myth library), numerous places lead to the truth!
