The Fish Market is a unique place, an emblematic building of the Reconstruction of Le Havre.
This former fish auction, with a surprising, almost sacred architecture, is now being turned into a pioneering experimental place dedicated to marine ecology, a place dedicated to the sea and the environment where we can have a drink and eat fish.
At the intersection of Nelson Mandela Promenade, Notre Dame neighbourhood and the centre listed a UNESCO World Heritage site, the fish market is a landmark part of many heritage trails and sightseeing tours in Le Havre: heritage and architecture trail, sea trail, gourmet trail, Saint François neighbourhood trail.
