The museum tells the story of Lord of Grainville-la-Teinturière who undertook, on his own behalf, the conquest of the Canary Island in 1402. The museum also gives the visitors the opportunity to learn about the present day islands with whom the inhabitants of Grainville-la-Teinturière keep a special relationship.
