Visits of heritage sites are organised all year round and led by tour guides who help visitors understand the local heritage.
Since 1992, Fécamp has been a member of the national network of French Towns and Regions of Art and History.
Boucane is a local term used to describe the workshops where herrings were smoked and prepared using traditional techniques. The last boucane closed in 1996. Belonging to the Seine-Maritime department, the Boucane du Grand Quai is the only smoke factory in the region to have retained its equipment and to open to the public for guided tours.
