Château-Musée Louis-Philippe
Place Isabelle d'Orléans et Bragance 76260 EU / Côte d'Albâtre
Maison des Illustres
The Château d'Eu is a royal residence. Former property of the Duke of Guise and La Grande Mademoiselle, it then became King Louis-Philippe's summer house. Its interior decor, its collections and its park will tell you more about its illustrious owners.
The construction of the castle started in 1578 ; it was later successively restored, enlarged and decorated by the Grande Mademoiselle, King Louis-Philippe and the Comte of Paris.
The museum breathes life into the palace : paintings, objects of art and everyday life (linen, porcelain, silverware...).
