It is all that remains of the property where Gustave Flaubert used to live on the bank of the river Seine. The pavilion houses a collection of objects that belonged to the author.

On the banks of the Seine, this garden pavillon, is the only part remains of the property lived in by Flaubert for 35 years. On display are personal objects, writing equipement, portraits, engravings and views of Croisset at the time. Flaubert's library is housed in the town hall at Canteleu.
