Overview
Opposite the famous “Volcan” designed by Niemeyer and in the heart of the city rebuilt by Auguste Perret and listed a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Oscar Hotel is a joyful tribute to the 1950s.
With its 14 bedrooms, the Oscar Hotel is situated in a listed building in the city centre, in the heart of the Perret Neighbourhood listed a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
In the post-war reconstruction style, fully renovated and decorated by the interior designer and architect Vincent Duteurtre in 2010 with a clever combination of new pieces of furniture and authentic vintage objects, the Oscar Hotel allows you to travel back to the 1950s. It combines the style of the 1950s with the modern level of comfort. A bold gamble that gives the place recognition. The name "Oscar" refers to the furniture brand of the 1950s that invented the concept of modular cabinets in France. The name also pays tribute to Niemeyer, the world-renowned Brazilian architect who left his mark opposite the hotel with his "Volcan", the city's major cultural centre.
