Overview
The Market of Pavilly was created in 1362 and remains an important event for the town.
During the Ancien Régime, near the wheat market, there was a market dedicated to drapers, vendors of sewing materials and coton traders. At the begining, the market is located on the Place des Halles but the area becomes too small and the market also settles on the Church and Town Hall squares. So the cemetery was moved in another place. (Information extracted from the book of Doctor Henriquet " Pavilly, de la Révolution Industrielle à nos jours ").
Nowadays, the market of Pavilly takes place every Thursday from 9:00 to 12:00 AM.
