The Association des Amis du Moulin et du Domaine de Penthièvre is delighted to announce the second edition of the Bresle Valley Glass Festival, to be held on August 9 and 10 at the Domaine de Penthièvre in Blangy-sur-Bresle. This unique event will showcase the region?s world-renowned glassmaking expertise in an exceptional setting.
Over the course of two days, glassmakers, glassblowers, flameworkers and artists will share their passion with the public through demonstrations, exhibitions and participatory workshops. Visitors will have the opportunity to discover ancestral glassmaking techniques up close, and to exchange ideas with passionate professionals.
In addition to showcasing talent, the festival will also feature lectures, exhibitions and a host of surprises, offering an immersive and enriching experience for young and old alike.
The Bresle Valley Glass Festival is part of a drive to preserve and promote the region?s glassmaking heritage, which plays a key role in the luxury goods and perfume industries worldwide.
In 2023, 5,000 visitors attended the event, and members of the association are expecting between 7,000 and 10,000 for this 2nd edition.
