Conférence : "Le bonapartisme en Seine-Inférieure 1814 - 1848"

The subject of this conference is Bonapartism as a major 19th-century political trend in the département. Western France, and therefore Normandy, is often portrayed as a part of the country with mixed memories of the Empire, and therefore less favorable to Bonapartism during our study period. With this general observation in mind, we set out to find traces of Bonapartism, which was in opposition at the time.
