Being the last royal estate in France, the town of Eu boasts a remarkable heritage, the most important one in Upper-Normandy after Rouen in terms of number of historical buildings.

In addition to the chateau, the collegiate church is simply amazing with its impressive proportions. The proscenium theatre, a hidden gem, offers a rich programme of Baroque music.

The Hôtel-Dieu (General Hospital), the Chapel Saint-Laurent O'Toole, built in honour of the Archbishop who died there, the Jesuit College Chapel... are all gems you can see while strolling in the historic centre of Eu. This way of exploring the city will also allow you to admire beautiful houses, all built in the same way, with a porch leading to a garden enclosed by walls. The walk is worth it!
