A breath of fresh air and panoramic views of the countryside and the forest of Eu. This is what the Val Jacob hiking trail offers you! Leaving from the church in Fallencourt, a small peaceful village in the Bresle Valley, you will leave for a two hour walk along the small valley called Jacob.

The Val Jacob Walk has much more to offer! It will lead you to an area with varied landscapes between agricultural and forest areas. During the walk, take time to turn around and admire the scenery. A 360° panoramic view unfolds before your eyes! You will be surprised by the numerous valleys and the vibrant colours of the crops, depending on the season. After a short break to take photos, it is time to hit the road again and get closer to the forest.

In a matter of seconds, the atmosphere changes. A different light and prevailing coolness… that's it, no doubt you are in the heart of the forest of Eu! This forest is managed by the National Forest Office in a sustainable way in order to best protect the plants and animals present. Following the path down the small valley, take time to enjoy this nature break in the shade of beeches, hornbeams and chestnuts.

And here you are, on the edge of the forest, on a little grass track that leads you back to the village. Stop a minute to admire the view of the surrounding valleys and especially the one of the village of Fallencourt. Back to the starting point, with a head full of beautiful images and a camera full of photos. This walk is recommended in all seasons, but be careful if it rained, the path can be slippery!
