Go for a sporty bike ride in the land of Emma Bovary and discover the sites and landscapes that would have served as the setting for Gustave Flaubert's famous novel. Stroll through the villages and look for the various information panels installed on the sites related to the work of Madame Bovary. You will discover the Château de Martinville-Epreville and its magnificent gardens, renovated in 2015, as well as several churches and chapels, such as that of Rebets. Then come and discover the similarities between the villages of Ry and Yonville-l'Abbaye, Emma Bovary's fictitious place of life, and take a break Then come to Buchy on Mondays to meet the producers of the farmers' market, installed under the famous wooden halls. A little more effort and you will arrive at the Sculptures de Bois-Guibert garden, a magnificent place, created by Jean-Marc de Pas, where art and nature come together. Many other surprises await you: the ruins of the medieval castle of Blainville-Crevon, the watercress makers and many more. A tour rich in history, where you will be transported back to the time of the famous Madame Bovary. Don't forget your helmets and water bottles, as the road is sometimes hilly!
