Vasterival Valley

In Sainte-Marguerite-sur-Mer, not far from Dieppe, it is impossible not to be impressed by this dry-hanging valley that leads to a breathtaking view over the sea. This wild and rocky beach is very pleasant and intimate.

Located at the Cap d'Ailly, known for its lighthouse that has been rebuilt over and over again, the Valleuse de Vasterival, a dry hanging valley, blows visitors away from the top of the stairs with its powerful landscape: a wall of cliffs, massive stone blocks scattered almost elegantly on the beach, the horizon as far as the eye can see. For your information, this is the access used by the British troops in 1942 to destroy the gun battery during Operation Jubilee.
