The Gamet Wood is located west of the Pays de Bray "buttonhole". What is interesting about this site is the presence of a small limestone hill on which grows calcareous grassland and remarkable flowers, including numerous orchids.
Formerly used for grazing and mowing, the grassland has been abandoned and threatened by the development of trees and shrubs.
The site is now managed in a way that preserves the flower-rich meadows and the woodland, which is an essential refuge for wildlife.
This site belongs and is managed by the Department of Seine Maritime.
