Rue de la Forêt Verte 76770 HOUPPEVILLE / Vallée de Seine
It used to be called Silveison and to belong to the monks of Saint Ouen Abbey in Rouen. It is only during the French Revolution that it became a state forest.
In 2015, the state forest Forêt Verte was awarded the "Forêt d'exception" (Exceptional Forest) certification. This certification, given by the National Forests Office, rewards sustainable projects in major state forests.
