Avenue Winston Churchill, CAUDEBEC-EN-CAUX, BP 3 76490 RIVES-EN-SEINE / Vallée de Seine

Môm'Art, Musée de France, Normandie Qualité Tourisme

MuseoSeine tells the story of the river Seine, its landscapes and its inhabitants in an original and interactive way. It is an ideal starting point to explore the Seine Valley from Rouen to Le Havre.

This museum is devoted to the history of the river, through the life of its fishermen, its sailors, its shipbuilders and today s navigators. See the oldest existing traditional Seine vessel, the last gribane, called the Joble, which was launched in 1886, recalling the mascaret which the town was famous for - the steep-fronted tidal wave, or bore which moved up the river.
