Qualité Tourisme

MuseoSeine tells the story of the river Seine, its landscapes and its inhabitants in an original and interactive way. It is an ideal starting point to explore the Seine Valley from Rouen to Le Havre.

Opened onto the river Seine, MuseoSeine welcomes visitors to a modern display using new technologies. The museum stands out thanks to its different interactive areas designed to meet the expectations of all kinds of visitors.
The tour starts with a visit of a "gribane", the last example of traditional river Seine boats.
Then, MuseoSeine takes visitors on a historical tour of the river's iconic landmarks and immerses them in the life experiences of those who lived by the river.
Visitors will then be able to experience the tidal bore, to put themselves in the shoes of the river Seine pilots, and to discover other topics related to the river Seine: leisure activities, pilotage, fishing, etc. thanks to artefacts, archive images and films.
