Located in the Seine Valley, within the remarkable Château du Taillis in Duclair, the August 44 Museum displays a unique collection in Normandy that will take you back to the last battles of August 1944.
This museum recalls the tragic hours followed by the respite of liberation. Told via the actual stories of soldiers and civilians, and using various items, arms and military uniforms to complete the experience, you will begin to have an understanding of the final battles on the Seine.
